Jesus declared to the world thru the witness of His disciples that He would build His church and that neither entity nor power, including death, would stop Him (Matt. 16:18). The book of Acts (chapters 1, 2) is recorded proof that The Church was born on the Day of Pentecost, in Jerusalem A.D. 33. This church, which is one in body, has one Spirit, one hope, one Lord, one faith, one baptism, owned by one Jesus Christ... that purchased the church with His own blood (Colossians 1:18, Ephesians 1:14, and Ephesians 4:4).

The purpose of The Church is to Educate the sinner (2 Tim. 4:2, Mark 16:15), Equip the saved (2 Tim. 3:17, Hebrews 13:21), Encourage the saints (1 Thess. 5:11, Rom. 14:19), Endow the suffer (Matt. 25:35-40, Luke 6:35, 38), and Entrust a worthy sacrifice (2 Cor. 9:7, 8:12). Every Christian is called to exemplify the servant hood of Christ (John 13:15, 1 Tim. 4:12, 1 Peter 2:21).
